THANKS FOR THE REPLYS ,WHY WOULD YOU PUT THE REDUCER BEFORE THE COIL. I THOUGHT THAT OLD MODEL CARS WITH 12V SYSTEMS CRANKED ON 12 AND HAD TO HAVE 6V TO POINTS. IF YOU PUT THE REDUCER IN FRONT OF THE COIL WOULD THE 12 V COIL THEN BE A 6V COIL ?? THANKS KEITH
