I have seen (20 yrs ago) the stops in question, they control the location of the arms when the lever is in a given position. If they are out of adjustment, the system tries to move the arms farther and they are against the internal limit. thus oil is pumped past the pressure relief causing serious heating and foaming. If the pump is getting hot to the touch rapidly, this is likely the issue. If not, I suspect it was put together wrong. I am willing to talk, but I really respect current owner response on this more than my mediocre knowledge. The parts blowup in caseih.com diagrams (search for parts) is also going to show the stops. A manual will also do more good than a call. (really) JimN
