This is my take. If the steel wheels are IH steels off an M, for example,then the steel wheels, in good shape can be traded for a set of rubber tires and wheels. so that will lower the price to get a rubber set up for it. From that point of view, that makes a SMTA for $2K a good deal. A WFE alone, if it is a good one, is worth 400 dollars plus, by itself. A DIY rebuild on engine can be done for about $5-600.00 So, as others have said, that in my opinion is a very good price for a SMTA. Now if you are looking for something to fix and resell, then it may no be a good deal for you, but if it is a fix it and use it or keep it, then it is. Jim
