If you can get another tractor close, disconnect the hydraulic hoses on the lift cylinders from the 706, and connect them to the other tractor. Use a pair off extension hoses (male/female) to reach the 2nd tractor if needed.
Use the hydraulic on the other tractor to raise the loader up. Then using 2 pieces of angle iron the same length, put 1 on each cylinder on the piston shaft so you can safety prop up the loader and release the pressure on the donor lift tractor. Use several hose clamps around the angle iron & piston to keep in place.
Then you can pull the 706 back to the house/shop/garage so it will be more convenient to work on, and if you drop something small it won"t get lost in the grass (don"t ask me how I know that).
