Tony, make a wire clip and tie the trip rope to that and then attach the clip to your seat spring. Make the clip so that it slips off when the plow hits a rock and stops suddenly. My "H" has a small piece of thin metal with a hole in it that sticks back about 2 inches from the right bolt of the seat; the hole is for the plow rope.
I "struck out some lands" with my H and 2-16 Little Genius this forenoon. Gosh what fun. If the weather holds, us old guys will have 16 tractors (1959 & older)and plows playing in the dirt this Sat (19th). Local 4-H club will serve lunch. Hope to have a video of all the fun.
