Well, I fear the old belly pump on the M has bitten the dust. Testing out the mowing machine today we noticed that after we tested the hydraulics on the mower that it M couldn't raise or lower the cutting head on it very well. Well, figured it probiably needed alittle more oil. Well it was down quite a bit when we checked. Put more in it and the hydraulics got alittle better but we noticed that when we put the system under pressure fluid just sprayed out from the bottom of the pump. Looked underneath and the fluid is coming out of the front shaft. I called the Ytmag folks about a rebuild kit and none was to be found apparently. How much is it going to run me roughly to get the pump back in shape or is it not really worth fixing the pump or putting an independant pump on it and fab up some sorta reservoir for the oil? We don't use the hydraulics on it alot but we use em enough we would like to get em fixed. Any suggestions from those that have gone through these pumps before?
