Most are off base here, A H4 mag rotor is nothing like a J4 what you need to to is. There is a small line in the rotor material and its runs down to the gear on the rotor and will match up between 2 teeth..
Its exactly opisete the tang that fires on the cap.
If you need help I can send you a pic of a j4 rotor with it inscribed.

I don't think Gale Roberts was off base, he said exactly the same thing that you just did and I after I seen his post and realized that I had made a mistake and was thinking about a different mag I also posted the same thing that you just posted. I just happen to have no photos of a J4 mag around here.
