I went through the same thing about a month ago! You can get the parts out except for the PP. Do like Jim is saying to compress the springs on the PP. You'll have to have it fully compressed. Then work it back from the recess in the flywheel and once you can get it cockeyed in there you can work the clutch shaft out.
Be ready though! When mine finally came out it fell and hit me right in the throat!
You can then get the clutch disk out; there is barely enough room for it to slip out. The PP won't come out without splitting.
Once the clutch shaft is out you can move the pressure plate back forward and have plenty of room to get the input shaft flange off if you need to.
It's frustrating at first because it looks like you can just slide the clutch shaft back or input shaft flange forward but there's just not enough room!
