How are you helping the original poster when you argue this point? Because SEVERAL posts ago, he SAID he checked the manifold and there were no leaks.
That means that the manifold, and all associated arguments from then on, ARE NOT RELEVANT to him, since he already eliminated the manifold as a possible problem!
He was not going on any wild goose chase since as soon as he sprayed it while running, he was satisfied that there was no leak, therefore you were not protecting him. He was not, I repeat, NOT going to follow any farther down the manifold road because he ALREADY ELIMINATED IT as a possible problem. So after he posted that, he was off looking at other possible issues, but you just kept right on coming after me. Why? Perhaps you are just very technically minded and thought it was an interesting discussion from that point of view, but it had nothing to do with helping francois and his A once he posted that he had moved on.
For my part, I had thought that you WERE teddy52, and were jacking with me just for the sake of jacking with me. Now I realize that teddy52 asked the question first, then it was all you after that. My bad. So I'm sorry for jumping back at you so soon in the exhange. But that doesn't change the fact that you won't accept that I have a different opinion concerning what damage can be done by a blow-by gasket, and have been on my case ever since. So, can we agree to disagree and finally end this?
