Bob Kerr said: (quoted from post at 20:24:52 05/14/08) A truck dropped a new Saginaw 3 point hitch off in my yard today! My H"s easy life will soon be over! It will go from sledding logs and pulling firewood trailer to doing that plus grading, bushhogging, picking up heavy stuff with the boom, and of course a tractor show and drive for the "weekends off".
Bobby-O: Funny you should mention that; my Saginaw arrived here last Tuesday week ago - just under the wire at the old price. I already have it installed on my Super M, but have yet to have the hydraulic lines made up. I have a remote (2-way) valve, and I am going to put this "lazy M" to work also.
One thing I noticed about my Saginaw, is that the holes are drilled wrong (too wide) to reinstall the old drawbar on the Saginaw. My drawbar won't fit, and when I compared measurements to my SH drawbar, it validated to me that the holes were wrong - not that my drawbar was sprung out of shape as the guy at Saginaw suggested. Please let me know if you have the same problem, or not. Thanks. mike (Red Mist)[b:d2d603607b][/b:d2d603607b]

To top that off, you have a cup with oil in it ("why would you want to lubricate your carburetor?"). On closer examination (and some reading in a AC D-14 service manual), I found out that this is a pretty ingenious method of cleaning the air in the tractor's intake tract.
