I just took the head into a machine shop to get looked at. I figured that is the one for sure thing I know is wrong so Ill see what they find then go from there before tearing into the oil pump. I also did a compression test before the head came off. I got 90, 50, 25, 50 Lbs on the individual cylinders. Could the compression loss be because Im pumping compression into the block which is being shown on the oil pressure gauge??
The bright side, fired up the cub for the first time this year, mowed 2 acres with it, without any problems. Its good to have a spare tractor sometimes.
