I have a IH 424 and was out mowin and was backing into a stall by the barn. When I went to pull out the engine died. Somehow the trans is stuck in reverse and I cant get it out. I am able to slip into 2 3 and 4 but when i let off the clutch the engine struggles and tries to quit. I can still select H and L gear but no matter what I'm in reverse. I cant physically move the shifter over all the way to the left to try R or 1 but any time the shifter is in the N position Im in reverse. Fluid is filled to level plug as manual says...Just converted it to vertical exhaust and fixed some electrical problems and has been running perfect last 3 days. But now this!! Any Suggestions??
