I can't answer the hydraulic question but I just had the same problem with the sentry on my 5488. There is two pressure switches under the floor pan in the cab. Kinda a pain to get at.. got to remove the mat, etc. You can switch the pressure switches from one to another to see if the problem is the odd numbered gears or even numbered. Easy to see if one is bad will be seeping/leaking oil.Also the sentry module has two relays on the bottom, switch these to see where the problem gears will be. Just swap them side to side. If any of this doesn't work the module could be bad. The module is in the fusebox at the bottom center of the dash, between the clutch and brake pedals. Sorry for the long post hope it helps!
