After (of course) I primed the rear frame on the H I noticed cracks in the casting in the area where the rear axle mounts to the frame. The solvent that I used to wipe it down crept into the cracks and made them visible. Now what? I assume the cracks are not new and caused no harm when the tractor was together and running. The axle housing should hold everything together when it's bolted to the frame. My inclination is to do nothing except maybe drill a few small holes to stop the cracks from spreading. I have pictures in the "Parts and Pieces" gallery under "1951 Farmall H - Rear Frame". Has anyone seen this before? Should I be more concerned?
