The cracks might not propagate, but in my opinion now is the time to put a different housing on it. There are many of these in the yards. The issue is that with it torn down to the extent it is, why risk it, I would think that you can even get a close casting date stamp to make it a near original replacement. I think that location is a stress area, and may have broken from either loose axle housing force, or overload like rough treatment with a corn picker. I would say replace. JimN
