Hi BD144 engine was used on B275,B276 and I believe 354 and 424. The B414D,434,444,384 used a BD154 engine but I believe most parts were common just the stroke was different. Go yo caseih.com parts search BD-144 and the engine parts will appear. Most likely the part that is required unless someone cracked the water pump housing attempting to change the bearing without the aid of a hydraulic press is:
Item 7 3042304R91 BEARING BEARING, spindle water pump.
Don't attempt to change the bearing yourself unless you have the proper tools or you will crack the water pump housing. 30 years ago our local IH dealer would do a casting exchange on the water pump and only charge for the bearing plus 1/2 hour labour. You are correct to adjust fan belt was by loosen a locking screw on water pump pulley and screwing outside part of pulley in or out. Also becarefull tapping this pulley as it will crack. The water pump is not to difficult to remove as I recall you have to tip the rad forward but it has been 35 years or more.
