tried to get my 1955 farmall 100 running again today after 3 or 4 years of sitting out. unfortunately, other projects got in the way but now its time for the restoration. problem is, i have no spark. its a completely original 6 volt system. my multimeter tells me that there"s voltage going to the coil and it has continuity from the coil through to the points. there"s also continuity through the main coil wire to the rotor, and through the spark plug wires. i carefully removed corrosion off the points with a file and touched up the studs on the coil itself. obviously im missing something, probably simple. can anyone help?
