Row widths?

This will show my ignorance about working fields. I grew up on an animal farm not a grain farm and I have always had a garden. This year I want to try to setup my Super A with the cultivators I have for it and use it on the garden. My stupid question is, how far apart do I make the rows? I use a one row planter without a tractor and usually leave enough room for the rototiller to cultivate. I have very hard clay ground and in July the fine grindings of the rototiller become hard as a rock and unworkable. Are the rows the same for my cub?
