Am doing my first restoration on a 42 H. One of this first things I've done is to look for leaks. I had one at the rear 'inspection window' that allows you to see hydraulic drive shaft (bottom) as well as the drive train (top). I wrote the other day and seem to have the seals on either side of the hydraulic shaft figured out. Now, what about the tranny-side of the drive train? That big coupler way up there looks like a knuckle-cruncher. Any suggestions? And, what do I do then if I do manage to remove the coupler? Do I have to split the tractor? If so .. adding oil might be easier.
