The hole I was refering to is in the plate below the nozzle valve you cleaned. Can get some carbon build up over time. Clean with a tip cleaner of the right size. Valve adjustment is very important. Also check for stuck starting valves while you have the valve cover off.Push down on the cup that goes over the valve & spring retainer make sure they are coming all the way up. Can free them up if needed by removeing the rocker arm assembly & cup over the valve. Use penetrateing oil & work them up & down. If to sticky remove the spark plugs. You can spray the valve stem through the plug hole. Usually will free up just takes patience. Quick check for stuck starting valves, crank over with change over lever on diesel. Will crank faster on cyl with stuck starting valve.
