Howdy Got my wiring straightened out---thanks guys. Now for the next problem (issue) (challenge), I finally was able to repair my welded together steering shaft u joint (hours of grinding, filing and hammering, a new cross and caps, some JB weld for the low spots where I got carried away with the die grinder, and she's good to go). Took the cover off the steering gear box did a visual check, gears looked good, topped off the grease and covered it back up . Whats happening now is the steering shaft wants to "walk" back and forth as I steer from one direction to another. I've tightened the shaft collars and u joint as tight as possible and turning the steering wheel just pushes them around on the shaft. Anyone know what might be going on here? Thanks Bob S.
