Fine tuning thr SMTA now. Put an old dwell/tach I inherited from my Dad on it. Shows a tad less than 1600 at high idle. I disconnected the throttle rod, and pushed the governor rod full down, HARD. Still got only 1600 rpm.
Want to try pulling with the beast, and want a little more. How do I wick it up? How do you know where that throttle plate in the carb is when the gov control is full down?
