The Pressure Plate on my M broke. I had it rebuilt and have reinstalled it. However, it does not seem to be adjusted correctly -- no matter how much I lengthen the clutch rod, it does not completely release.
Can/should I adjust the "Throw-Out Levers" while it is installed? This would save a lot of labor removing and re-installing it.
I am thinking that I should adjust the clutch rod so that the throw-out bearing is as far back as possible and then adjust the pressure plate levers so that they almost touch the throw-out bearing. Would this work? Any and all ideas appreciated!
