I've completely redone the rear end of my 47 h and have filled it with 6 gallons of oil. When I take the fill plug out, and look inside, the oil is way down the bottom, and it seems to me like it's not enough. Since there is no "check level plug" that I'm aware of, how do you know if the level is good? And over time as you leak, consume, etc, how do you know how much to add in the future to keep the level right?
