Thanks for all the input on the tractor value of the Cub I was looking at. I found the following about it: Sheet metal is PERFECT Engine runs VERY smoothly, w/ no smoke. Tranny is quiet and tight. Steering is tight. One point hitch works flawlessly. No cracks, welds, brazing, or cobbled up anything. Wrong front lights, but they do work. Rear light w/ red tail light lens works, but needs new clear lens. Tires are 45 degree Firestone's on the back, no cracking, little wear. Fronts appear to be relativey new, but of the old notched side design. Battery box needs replaced, but could be made serviceable w/ some work. New dist. cap, coil, plugs, wires, etc. Orignal wiring harness. Comes w/ IH equipment as follows: one 12" single point plow, w/ good bottom but no coulter. Excellent single gang, one point disc w/ perfect blades AND all scrapers.
5' belly mount sickle mower, working condition and complete. Has had one support rod welded. Really cool single point carrier w/ box. Complete set of front and rear IH wheel weights.
