As stated in a post below, I just obtained an A (12 volt system) tractor. My mechanic skills are lacking quite a bit & so I am in need of some help. The guy I bought the tractor from said that it started/ran great, then it sat for 9 months due to an illness. When I tried to start it, it took 2 slow continuous cranks before it wnted to fire. I didn't worry too much about it, so I went ahead & got the tractor. When I got it home & tried to start it, it just cranked once & then went dead. It does NOTHING now when I try to start it. The battery is good & all connections are clean. Where do I go from here to track the problem?
