I can't say for sure but it sure looks like it to me... at least you found something that was obviously wrong. I had a knock in my H that I never could find the source of (even after taking it apart three or four times). I ended up just swapping the entire transmission out of another parts tractor in the end. Big pain.
In hind sight, I think mine was a bearing, but I sure could never prove it. Good luck!
