I responded to you on Implement Alley thread, yes, I've heard tell of Scottish, and basically they are same as ACE. I know IH, MH, Cockshutt, Oliver and Deere all had a version of this bottom, might be others. ACE is an IH trademark. If I get a chance, I'll go to the coffee shop and join the competition plowmen. They will know what each company called them.
They might not tell me. I had been urged to join the plowman's assoc. One of the members drove by and saw my plowing, then told the others I might be stiff competition. It was then relayed to me. I came home looked over my plowing, went back to the coffee shop one morning, and asked the question, "Are you guys really this bad."
