On my 504, when I have the TA off(forward)It comes out of gear hard. It feels like there is pressure on the gear shift like the tractor still wants to go forward as I am pulling it out of gear. Also, when I shift from reverse to any forward gear with the TA on or off, some times the transmission will lock-up. It feels like the gear shift lever pops out of its slide and I am able to shift to another gear and therefor locking-up the transmission. Other than that, the TA works fine and the clutch works fine and the tractor operates very well. Therefor, I have two questions. (1)Do I have a TA Problem? (2)Do I need to replace my gear shift or the slides in my transmission.
