A bracket can be made out of a heavy strip of copper (cut from a piece of copper pipe, or flattened 3/8" or 1/2" copper tubing. The copper part is important in that it needs to carry hundreds of amps. (a short O gauge cable made just long enough to loop once, and attach is OK also. The metal bracket on the Relay must be grounded to the starter frame to make it work. The 12 v relay will be fine. Hooking it's I terminal up to the ballast resistor is a good idea if you have one.
