So, I was in the barn today messing with my 450LP. I have pulled some sheet metal off and attacked the battery box. Old battery wouldn't make ground. Got the rotten battery box off and hooked up a new battery. Then I started messing with the throttle linkage. It is WAY off. When you have the linkage at 1/3 throttle, the engine is at low idle. You can pull the throttle past the notches and get to full rpm. Started looking at the adjustment in the linkage and that rod looks like it need to be an inch longer to get it to idle at the idle position. Does anybody else have a 450 with linkage like this?
