If you order the part for your specific tractor, model and serial number, you should not have any problem getting the correct part.
Remove the hydraulic steering lines from the hand pump. Remove the bolts that hold the pump mounting bracket to the firewall. The pump should slide out along with the mounting bracket.
I would guess that it is called the hand pump since if you lose hydraulic pressure it still functions as a pump to maintain steering.
