We"ve got an international 886. It has power steering and today, I noticed some oil dripping from the steering box connected to the steering WHEEL. This is up in the engine compartment.
The steering box, seems to be a round, 3-part cylinder with 8 or so, bolts on the bottom, holding all three parts together.
I don"t yet have a socket thin enough to see if its loose bolts BUT...here"s my issue:
Looks like when the tractor is running and pressure is up, hydraulic fluid is just weeping from the two seams where the 3 parts are compressed together.
This could EASILY be some loose bolts on the bottom but.... I"m wondering... what if it isn"t?
What might cause oil to leak from BOTH seams on this?
Are these rebuildable (worst case scenario) or can I get gaskets and replace them (better case scenario)
Looking like I need a thinwall socket for this?
The bolt heads look to be flush with the bottom of the "cup". Meaning, the bolt heads are actually recessed a bit so I can NOT get to them very easily.

This is I think the blow up of the whole assembly and oil is seeping out of the seams between parts 26, 24 and 31 (part 23 I think either goes inside the others or doesn't exist on my tractor)
part (bolt) 27 is the part that's recessed and I can't get a socket on yet. (only had impact sockets which are thicker)
