I am thinking of having my 6 volt generator which is not working converted to 12 volts instead installing a alternator.I am having trouble placing an alternator in the necessary space under the hood.Will this provide me with the necessary voltage.Also, anyone know where I can get a wiring diagram for a 300 utility . My wiring is frayed and original and really needs to be replaced.
