Can I tag team on Dave Westlunds question below. The other day I changed the oil on my 53 Super C and when I took the plug out about a tea spoon of antifreeze came out first. The tractor is used for plowing a food plot once a year and pushing the little snow around we get here in SW MO. Its been two years since I last changed the oil cause it sees so few hours. I guess my question is should I be concerned about such a small amount of water getting in the oil over a two year span? The oil was clean and not milky when I drained it and I estimate there was about 3 to 5 CCs. Thanks for all replies. Paul PS I put a new head gasket in it and had the head shaved 10 years ago when I "restored" the old girl cause I found a small amount of oil in it at that time. This is the first time it has shown up since.
