Pete, I removed the cover plate and turned the engine over and the clutch did turn. I started it up and the clutch still turns whether in hi or low, in gear or not and clutch in or out. With engine running, the clutch turns smoothly and doesn't make any unusual noise. With the engine stopped, I felt the clutch and it has free travel rotating about 1-1/2" either way. I can also move it up and down slightly. At one time, I put it in gear and released the clutch and it started to move. I put it in neutral to get down and remove some stuff from under the tractor and when I tried it again, it wouldn't move.
