Ok made some progress on this engine, called all over town trying to find safety wire, ended up getting it at Duncan Aviation where it is used all the time for aircraft.
Is there manuals that cover these odds & ends besides the parts & service manuals that I have, or is it just learned from experience?
More questions
How far do I press in the oil deflector?
Is the new oil seal that is thinner, enough, or do I need 2 seals?
Someone mentioned priming the oil pump when I install it, how do I do that?
I am sure I will have more questions as I go along.
