Howdy I tried this on the tool forum, but made it too complicated, so I'm trying here. As a rule of thumb lets say you have 2 holes 24 inches apart OC, and you need a piece of 1/2 inch pipe to connect thru said holes, there is a tee on one end and an elbow on the other end. How long should the pipe be, taking into account the amount the pipe threads into the fittings and the fittings themselves? And one more thing, if I HAD TO use a small amount of galvanized pipe in a naturnal gas line could I do so, I hate to do a 70 mile round trip for 2 feet of black iron pipe. Thanks Bob S.
