Anyone know if .010 gasket material is available in auto stores?
Specifically, [judging from the other side of the rear retainer] I'm guessing it's a Vellumoid gasket (crank case, so it just needs to resist engine oil at say 212 F; if that); I was just going to cut one for this [seems to be a hard one to find for a 22-36], and realized everything I have on hand is .030 whichwould shift the crank back .020.
How about a good substitute? I could cut a ring of heavy paper to the outside of the bolt pattern [to set the thickness] and run a bead of blue RTV inside this, but seems a bit hokey.
