The TA in the 1466 uses one less lock up discs on the TA side than the direct drive side so the potential for clutch slipage is greater while in TA than in direct drive. The only time it becomes an issue is when you are pulling a heavy load going down a steep hill while in TA low side. If you are replacing the TA have one installed that has an extra low side clutch disc in it and you won't have any problems. Chuck
