I've seen several postings stating that a wide front end from a 560/706/806 (and I assume 756/856) will bolt directly under the FRONT of an M, but that fitting the REAR mount requires "some modifications". I'm itching to order a beefier new Schwartz front(for 560/706/806/756/856) with hubs so I can run larger flotation tires on my M, but I want to be sure this is really do-able before I lighten my wallet.
So, two questions for anyone who has tried this (or thought about it as a Farmall expert): 1. Do you agree that the 560/706/806 wide fronts will directly bolt up in FRONT on the M without modification to the front end or to the M itself? 2. What SPECIFIC modifications would have to be made to the REAR mount or to the M itself (steering?) to make this work?
