The motor number is stamped on the right side of the engin block behind and above the distributor on a flat almost directly behind the throttle rod at the very north end of the block. Most 100's were made around 1955. Look for the actual unit serial number on an aluminum plate that should be on the inside of the right seat support or it could be on the left side of the cluch tube.
