Tractor Buddies,
I was showing my wife how to put the SA thru the gears & it died.Definitley a electrical problem. The battery is charged and I cannot find any broken wires.Does anyone in the network have a wireing diagram they could send me or at least give me some help.When the battery was low and it would not start,one hand crank and it would fire.There is a resistor in the system and it appears to be OK.The year is 1948 and has been converted to 12 volt.HELP-HELP

After two summers of having to park my old 1964 model 4000 gas 4 cyl. on a hill just in case the 6 volt system, for whatever reason, would not crank her, I decided to try the 12 volt conversion. After some research of convert or not, I decided to go ahead, the main reason being that this tractor was a working tractor, not a show tractor (yet).
