I still use two 806's today, stock hp and also have a 856 that I use to run around 125-130 with a windmill on the exaust manifold. The 806's out lasted the 856 by a long shot. Three years ago my 407 just would not go much longer and I found a 1206 with a bad rear end and the motor just gone thru about two years earlier, I bought the 1206 for 3,500.00 and put that motor in my 856 and had it on dyno , backed out the screw and set it at 120 hp. I love the sound of that DT361 and can not tell any difference from the old 407 when it was up to power and it don't run as hot as the 407 did with the same load. I just don't think you can beat thoes 361;s
