"It"s easy" says the parts guy behind the counter of the CNH shop when I showed him my dead original equipment generator. Use this bracket and this alternator and you"ll be set. He scratched a quick wiring diagram on a sheet of paper and sent me on my way.
Well, I have the Alternator as good as mounted, but I could use some help on the wiring diagram. I"ve looked at Bob M"s online diagrams and I think I have an idea... but if anyone has advice to give, I"m all ears. (can I remove the voltage regulator completely, etc.)
I took a few photos including the diagram the CNH dealer sent along. I labeled all the connections I understand I might need to modify. Even a review on the theory would be great!
