I finally got a pair of real live two way cylinders to finish the loader/blade I"ve been building forever. The Super M is a stage II with all it"s associated hydraulic parts. Some questions for those who"ve done something similar:
Is the stock reservoir large enough for loader use (including a cylinder for a bucket)?
Did anyone add a filter (in the return line) or an oil cooler?
And finally, how much system pressure is safe for the pump? I"ve read in the manual that the stock pressure could test as high as 1200 psi, but I"m curious if someone has used more than that.
The valve that I bought to use is two spool, open center with a preset relief at 2500 psi (obviously I"ll have to adjust that down). My thinking is that I should direct all pump output to this valve, skipping the stock valve in the process and running the return line to the filler for the reservoir. Am I on the right track?
