DK 44H has the right idea. I soaked mine for a week or so with PB Blaster and took a pipe wrench with a cheater on it and slowly got it turning. Then with a 4lb sledge using a piece of oak got it to move. Then when it was all the way in I used a crowbar to push it back our. Repeated spraying, turning and moving it in and out it finally started working. I believe you can see the spring from underneath. I now grease it every couple of months to keep it viable. Henry
