I have removed the sheet metal and belt guard. The oil is definnately coming out the shift lever cover.
I have wiped it clean several times.
There is a plastic or hard rubber cap, similar to 1/2 of a tennis ball, and it moves with th shift lever. This is all about 8 or 10 inches higher then the oil level.
