Ive fought both the rope seals, and felt packing before and got tired of it. I mesaured everything i could think of on an F-20 for lip seals and went to the local bearing house. heres what ive replaced on an F-20 with lip seals
steering input shaft on bolster
front main seal in timing cover
rear main seal
clutch output shaft
tranny input shaft
belt pulley shaft
rear PTO shaft
the only seal you cant get is the large felt seal that goes in the bull gear drop to the outside by the wheel. its just too small to get one. small being the difference in the OD, and ID
