Red and Phil are correct. If it runs fine, keep running it! Another thing to consider is the oil you are using. These things were designed for SAE30 oil in most applications. As the engine gets older and naturally accumulates some wear, the SAE30 flows pretty freely through the "wide open spaces" as the engine gets hot. I realize that what I'm about to say may draw heavy fire from some folks.....but I'm gonna say it anyway: Try an SAE grade that's a little heavier on your next oil change. If you can find some SAE40, using it may boost the oil pressure a little. I don't want to start or get into another "Great Oil Debate" on here, but you could even consider some 20W50 in it. Pressure isn't the ONLY factor to consider. If the engine is pretty clean inside, and the pump is providing enough VOLUME, your engine will probably live for a long time.
